Dr. Al saleh's research focuses on facilitating the MRI-based treatment planning for radiation therapy in clinical use including correcting geometric distortion in MR images, bias field correction, generating synthetic CT models from MR scans and 4D-MR imaging.

His research includes adaptive radiotherapy, image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) and TCP/NTCP models.

Xioajian (Victor) Chen, PhD, is a medical physics resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Chen is currently working on research in the area of adaptive radiation therapy.

Eenas Omari, PhD is a Postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Radiation Oncology. She is currently investigating and developing tools for tracking and monitoring the motion of the pancreas during radiation therapy using Ultrasound. In addition, Dr. Omari is working on the characterization of pancreatic motion and its correlation to the motion of organs at risk.

Xingfeng Chen, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Chen's research focus is on MR-linac dosimetric effects of magnetic field and electron density assignment as well as MRI-based IMRT planning and evaluation of treatment planning systems.

Entesar Dalah, PhD is a medical physics resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Dalah's research activities include quantifying tumor aggressive regions (ex. hypoxia, and high cellularity) for radiation dose escalation, thresholding DW-ADC parameter map, and PET images, correlating DW-ADC parameter map, studying tumor response using ADC map and PERCIST SUL peak, and PET images with tumor characteristic from histology.
