MCW Participates in Campaign to Address Homophobia in Milwaukee’s Black Community
A UW-Madison news release describes MCW’s participation in Acceptance Journey, a campaign to address homophobia in Milwaukee’s black neighborhoods, which is identified as a contributing factor to the increased HIV rates among young, gay, black men. MCW is partnering in the campaign through the Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program. Collaborators are UW-Madison’s Population Health Institute, Diverse & Resilient, the City of Milwaukee, and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services AIDS/HIV Program.
