How to Achieve a Runner’s High

A story in Runner’s World Magazine cites Dr. Cecilia Hillard’s research on sleep and endocannabinoids.  Dr. Hillard, professor of pharmacology and toxicology and director of the Neuroscience Research Center at MCW, found that eight hours of sleep nightly is best for endocannabinoid production.  Endocannabinoids help create a feeling of calm in the body.
