In articles in The Scientist and the San Francisco Chronicle, MCW scientists Dr. David Dimmock (Pediatrics – Genetics), Howard Jacob, PhD, (Human and Molecular Genetics Center, Physiology) and Elizabeth Worthey, PhD, (Pediatrics – Genomics, Human and Molecular Genetics Center), challenge the findings of a Stanford University report in the Journal of the American Medical Association that says that technology is not yet to the point to provide patients with accurate, useful information derived from DNA tests.
