Dr. Berger Calls for State Regulations Mandating Pulse Oximetry Screening of Newborns

In a news report on WTMJ-AM, Dr. Stuart Berger (Pediatrics – Cardiology) calls for state regulations requiring Pulse Oximetry Screening for all Wisconsin newborns. The screening test checks oxygen in a newborn’s blood and can be the first indicator that a newborn has a potentially deadly hidden illness.
