Women’s History Month video vignette – Dr. Karen Marcdante and Sreevalli Atluru

March 29, 2012 College News - In honor of Women’s History Month, the Medical College of Wisconsin has created a series of video vignettes and stories that will be posted on InfoScope during the month of March. The vignettes highlight some of our women faculty, staff and students and the contributions they have made.

In today’s video, Karen J. Marcdante, MD, Sr. Associate Dean for Education, Professor of Pediatrics and Chair of the Dean’s Education Innovation Advisory Committee, talks about finding her role in leader ship and in teaching. Sreevalli Atluru, third-year medical student, talks about the role and impact she hopes to have with the path she’s taking in her education and her involvement in student government, and how women like Dr. Marcdante are leading the way for young women in science, education, medicine and the community.

All of the vignettes and stories will be added to the College’s Women’s History Month 2012 Web page as they are published.
