The work continues the legacy of the late Ahmed Kissebah, MD, PhD, a longtime MCW faculty member who founded the TOPS Research Center at MCW and made seminal discoveries related to genes associated with obesity.
Founded in 1948, TOPS Club is a nonprofit network of weight-loss support groups. The organization and its members have provided more than $8 million in funding to MCW since 1966.
