J&B Hackerfest Golf Outing on July 12 to benefit MCW Cancer Center
June 16, 2014 College News - The 22nd annual J&B Hackerfest Golf Outing will take place on Saturday, July 12, at the Rivermoor Golf Club in Waterford, Wisconsin, with a shotgun start at noon. Proceeds from the event support brain tumor research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.
The event is held in memory of David Jansen, who died from a brain tumor in 1994. It is organized by his high school friend, Gary Bolskar, and other friends and family members. To date, it has raised nearly $30,000 to benefit MCW brain tumor research.
Registration is $125 per golfer or $500 per foursome. It includes 18 holes of golf (greens fees and cart), lunch, dinner, beverages and prizes. For $10, non-golfers can join the group for dinner at 5 p.m.
