Complex abdominal hernia symposium planned for April 25
April 08, 2014 College News - The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Surgery is hosting the Complex Abdominal Wall Reconstruction and Inguinal Hernia Symposium on Friday, April 25, in Health Research Center room H1210. The event targets general surgeons, plastic surgeons and allied health professionals involved in the care of patients who require abdominal wall reconstruction.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Identify complex hernias that are not amenable to standard repair techniques
Outline a plan for removal of the source of infection
Devise a multidisciplinary approach to reconstructing the abdominal wall
Describe the best approach for inguinal hernia repair.
