Acute care surgery symposium planned for April 18
March 20, 2014 College News - The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Surgery is hosting the Acute Care Surgery: Trauma, Critical Care and Emergency General Surgery Symposium on Friday, April 18, in Health Research Center room H1210. The event targets medical professionals who are involved with the practice of emergency general surgery, surgical critical care and trauma care.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Discuss options for management of emergency conditions of the stomach and foregut
Describe recommended options for management of sever necrotizing pancreatitis
Describe the best practice guidelines for management of severe infections in the surgical intensive care unit
Describe recommended steps in management and evaluation of the multi-injured blunt trauma patient.
