Dr. Harsch attended Marquette University for undergraduate training and the Medical College of Wisconsin for his medical training. He completed his post-graduate training at the University of Texas-Medical Branch, Galveston, and at Stanford University.
He is a 4-time winner of the Department's Golden Apple Teaching Award and was awarded the 2004 Teacher of the Year Award for the Association of Academic Psychiatry-Region VI. He also was elected to Fellowship in the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine.
Dr. Harsch's academic interests include Psychosomatic Medicine, Geriatric Psychiatry, and Psychopharmacology.
Dr. Harsch sees patients in the Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic at Froedtert Hospital and manages an adult psychopharmacology clinic at the Tosa Center.
