Brief Clinical/Research Interest Statement

My practice focuses on the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of seizures and epilepsy in children. Our team approach is invaluable for the treatment of seizures through the use of anticonvulsant medications, the ketogenic diet, vagal nerve stimulation, and epilepsy surgery. I see patients with recent onset of seizures, children with intractable epilepsy and candidates for epilepsy surgery and implantation of the vagal nerve stimulator. I see children in the only vagal nerve stimulator clinic in the State of Wisconsin.

My research focuses on the impact of epilepsy surgery, the efficacy of vagal nerve stimulation, and anticonvulsant medication trials.
