Login Required for JS Online
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (MJS) began a digital subscription program on January 4, 2012. The digital subscription is called “JS Everywhere.” Readers of the JS Online site will be able to read 20 articles per month at no charge. The 20 article limit is per computer. After reaching that threshold, a subscription and a login name/password must be used to gain unlimited access to the site.
Print subscribers of the MJS may register to obtain a login name using the account number or phone number on their account. The MJS now also offers a digital only subscription. Either type of subscription allows the account holder to access JS Everywhere on up to four computers simultaneously.
Unfortunately, at this time, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel subscriptions are designed for individual subscribers rather than institutional subscribers. The library will monitor subscription options for the newspaper and consider an electronic subscription if an appropriate campus-wide subscription type becomes available.
MCW Libraries has print subscriptions to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in each of our branch libraries. Froedtert Library is located on the second floor of the Specialty Clinics building, Children’s Library is located in the Children's Skywalk, and the Todd Wehr Library is on the third floor of the Health Research Center building. If you can’t visit any of our libraries in person, individual articles may be obtained via our Library on Request service.
