Palliative Care/Death and Dying Resources

Both hospice and palliative care focus on helping a person be comfortable by addressing issues causing physical or emotional pain or suffering. Hospice care is for patients with a terminal diagnosis who are no longer seeking curative treatment. There currently are more than 5,000 health care professionals involved in hospice care, and the number continues to grow. **
