ATODA Counselor /Smoking Cessation (PDF)

Free confidential education and counseling on alcohol, drug and tobacco abuse. You do not need any insurance or anyone's permission. For help with alcohol, drugs, or other substance abuse, call (414) 277-8916 for an appointment. Supported by Jewish Family Services, Fighting Back Program.

Opportunities Unlimited (PDF)

Opportunities Unlimited coordinates services for teens that promote use of health services, self-sufficiency, employment and academic success, while reducing risks for teenage pregnancy, substance abuse, delinquency, and school failure. If you would like to get involved, call (414) 277-8900.

Safety and Injury Prevention Program (PDF)

Injury prevention specialists provide assessments, education and child safety equipment including car seats, pack-n-plays and bike helmets to parents of children who are patients at the Downtown Health Center. For more information call, (414) 277-8938.

mPower

The Medical College of Wisconsin has launched mPower, the first ever telephone crisis line created specifically to assist adolescents and young adults under 21 years of age in an alcohol or drug situation. The crisis line is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by trained crisis volunteers. For additional information on mPower, please visit the mPower Web site.
