The Medical College of Wisconsin is a major national research center, in fact, the largest research institution in the Milwaukee metro area and 2nd largest in Wisconsin.

The Medical College’s research enterprise is focused on strategic, prioritized areas of research involving interdisciplinary collaboration among scientists and physicians with the goal of rapidly translating discoveries into advances for patient care. This past year Medical College faculty conducted more than 2,200 research studies, including clinical trials. Research Equipment Support and Engineering Services (RESES) Core

The Medical College of Wisconsin has on-site engineering design & repair services available to all labs and investigators on a fee-for-service basis.

MCW faculty conducted more than 2,000 research studies, including clinical trials, in FY 2013.

Affiliated Institutions (MCWAH)

The Medical College collaborates with the Blood Research Institute and with many hospitals in the greater Milwaukee area including Froedtert Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.
