MCW researchers to investigate biological factors of post-traumatic stress disorder

Nov. 17 - The Medical College of Wisconsin has received a two-year, $350,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Mental Health to investigate the biological mechanisms affecting the development of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Research on Angled Front/Side Impact Crashes

Brooke Lerner, PhD, is collaborating with colleagues at the University of Rochester on a $1.5 million grant from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Development to study thousands of child injury scenarios to learn the best practices for treatment at the scene, and what circumstances predict the need of a trauma center.
