Oct. 30 - A collaborative team of researchers from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), and the Clement Zablocki V.A. Medical Center (VAMC), has received a one-year, $50,000 grant from the Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin (CTSI) to study the therapeutic efficacy and mechanism of action of near-infrared light on the healing of chronic pressure ulcers.

July 22 - In July, Paralyzed Veterans of America hosted an adaptive handcycling clinic for disabled veterans at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Dr. Kenneth Lee created the clinic two years ago to help veterans who are unable to ride a two-wheeled bike because of spinal cord injury, spinal cord disease, or other disability. PVA

With a high resolution, life-size touchscreen, the technology offers students, residents and faculty the ability to view the human body from countless viewpoints and cross sections to further their understanding through virtual dissection.
