MCW to explore planning for School of Pharmacy

Sept. 25 - The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) will explore the feasibility of opening a school of pharmacy. A feasibility study will include several considerations related to an immersive three-year curricular model, class size, tuition, and a distributed model with possible campuses in Green Bay or Central Wisconsin.

Sept. 17 - A collaborative team of researchers from Marquette University and the Medical College of Wisconsin has received a one-year, $50,000 grant from the Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeast Wisconsin to study treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder.

Dr. Campbell Named as MCW’s First Eminent Scholar

Sept. 02 - William B. Campbell, PhD has been named as MCW’s first Eminent Scholar. The Eminent Scholar program recognizes and rewards excellence in academic and scholarly achievement that ordinarily would be funded from an endowed chair. NIH Awards $2.6 Million Grant to Study Effects of Stress in Drug Addiction Relapse

June 30 - Cecilia Hillard, PhD is co-principal investigator of a $2.6 million NIH grant awarded to John Mantsch, PhD, of Marquette University. The joint MCW/Marquette study will investigate the effects of stress in drug addiction relapse. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and GM Today

International Blood Conference to be Held in Milwaukee
