CAIR earns federal grant to promote regular HIV testing among Latino men

Oct. 6 - The Center for AIDS Intervention Research at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) has received a three-year, $658,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Mental Health to design an intervention to promote regular HIV testing and safer behavior among networks of Latino men at risk for HIV.

Sept. 15 - CBS-TV/Nashville aired a nationally-distributed video report in which Dr. Kathryn Bylow discusses the results of a recently published clinical trial that found that a combination of chemotherapy and hormone therapy extended life for men with metastatic prostate cancer on average by 17 months. Building wellness in Barron County
