Medical College of Wisconsin Patient Relations
The Patient Relations Department assists patients in navigating the system, providing a centralized and neutral mechanism for addressing patient concerns, complaints, and feedback—and acting as a liaison between patients and health care providers.
Because patient perceptions of care may not always be positive, we offer assistance in helping all parties involved come to an understanding, or at least an amicable resolution.
How we handle your concerns:
- Complaints may involve front desk staff, nursing staff, and/or physicians and providers.
- Details of the complaint will be sent to the parties involved.
- Appropriate levels of clinical leadership are made aware of the concern in order to assist in a resolution, as well as make any necessary improvements in the providing of patient care.
The Medical College of Wisconsin is dedicated to providing access to the best care available to its patients. We strive to assist our patients in identifying eligible coverage among the various options available in the market.
Starting October 1, 2013, millions of uninsured Americans will have the opportunity to purchase affordable healthcare coverage from the online Health Insurance Marketplace. On this Web site, you can view plan options, check for eligibility, and enroll.
