Study Led by Dr. Beyer to Determine Impact of Urban Park on Health Outcomes

Study Finds that Outdoor Programs Reduce Childhood Fears of Nature

June 20 - The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports on a 2012 study by MCW and UWM that found that Milwaukee children introduced to programs at the Urban Ecology Center’s outdoor programs reduced children’s fears of nature and increased their future likelihood of participation in outdoor activities.
