Project Goal Statement: Improve health of rural communities, families, and individuals in Barron County through collaborative partnerships and interventions to increase levels of physical activity and healthy eating patterns and decrease overweight and obesity.

    • Developed MI Tip of the Month Flyers, electronic newsletters, press releases, brochures, recipe cards, produce cards, Physical Activity Guide, and Health Challenges and distributed through social marketing, local media, radio stations, newspapers, etc.
    • Provided a food safety and preparation class to over 60 church representatives (Jan – Sept 2012)
